Company Settings

These settings are also available within building and device settings (where applicable) should you wish to make more granular changes.

Company Information

Company information settings are used to help all admin's of UMA Vision know the main company details. The following information can be added:

  • Company Name
  • Domain
  • Technical Email

Regional Settings

Regional settings are used to display the correct time, language and time format on the UMA booking panel.

Appearance

Choose a custom colour theme or logo to replace the default UMA theme/logo. Here you are able to choose from a colour palette or enter in your own colour codes to change the theme of UMA.

Alongside this you are now able to upload a custom logo by using the 'Upload File' button. This logo will replace the existing logos on the web portal and booking panel.

  • Changes will only apply when you hit 'Save'. You are able to preview the theme and logo before saving.
  • Changes will apply to all users.
  • Changes will apply instantly to all Booking Panels in your company.
  • A white transparent logo is recommended.
  • If you have an UMA Booking Panel this will replace the existing logo and colour on the side bar. 
  • The logo should file must be .png and 480px X 240px for best resolution.

Booking Policies

Booking policies can differ for each company so we've introduced multiple options to help admins tailor their booking experience.

 

Working Days/Hours

Use this setting to confirm the default working schedule that your employees follow. This setting has two uses. UMA uses this data to provide accurate reporting against occupancy data. Alongside this we use the working hours to help with booking start and end times.

 

Book Now Duration

This setting is used to set a default time period that is used when booking directly from the UMA booking panel interface. This setting is only applied to booking panels.

 

Release After Duration

This setting is used to cancel a booked resource after a default period of no occupancy. This setting requires an occupancy sensor assigned to a resource.

 

Book Rounding

This setting is used to provide more efficient booking slots. It can round up your meeting to the nearest 5, 10 or 15 mins so you don't have an odd meeting slot such as 10:17 - 10:47.

 

Auto Book Duration

This setting is used to set a default length of time that is used when a resource is booked automatically using an occupancy sensor. This setting requires an UMA occupancy sensor or Cisco device assigned to a resource.

 

Auto Book After Duration

This setting is used to set a default period of time a resource should be booked after a period of occupancy detection. This setting requires an occupancy sensor or Cisco device assigned to a resource.

 

LED

This setting is used to toggle on/off the LED's on the UMA booking panel.

 

Desk Booking Policies

Desk booking policies can differ for each company so we've introduced multiple options to help admins tailor their booking experience.

 

Desk Release

This setting is used to automatically cancel desk bookings that a user hasn't checked into after a configurable period of time after the start of the booking. 

 

Booking Threshold

This setting is used to restrict users from booking desks too far in advance. Enter in a numerical digit and select 'Days', 'Weeks' or 'Months' from the drop down to create a restriction for desk bookings in the future.

 

Half Day Bookings

This setting is used to enable morning and afternoon slots for desk bookings. This setting uses the working hours in 'Booking Policies' to determine the AM start time and PM end time. To configure the AM end time and PM start time just enter in the desired time value in each of the fields. 

For example, if your working hours are 9am - 5:30pm and you want to enable a morning slot for 9am - 12pm and an afternoon slot for 12:30pm - 5:30pm just enter 12pm as the AM end time and 12:30pm as the PM start time. 

 

Support Details

These support details are used to display on the UMA booking panel to show users the contact details for assistance with the booking panel / meeting room.
