Integration overview

UMA integrates seamlessly with the Quandify CubicMeter, a smart water monitoring and leak detection system designed for commercial and residential buildings. This integration allows organisations to gain real-time insights into water usage while proactively protecting against costly leaks and water damage.

How the integration works

The Quandify CubicMeter measures water consumption with high accuracy and continuously monitors for unusual flow patterns that may indicate leaks. Through UMA’s IoT platform:

• Live data ingestion: Water usage and system alerts are transmitted from the CubicMeter via its IoT connection into UMA’s central data pipeline.

• Unified analytics: Usage data is normalised and stored alongside other building metrics—such as occupancy, environmental conditions, and energy consumption—enabling cross-domain insights.

• Alerts & automations: UMA can trigger instant notifications when leak events or abnormal consumption are detected, and can automate actions such as shutting off connected water valves.
