Occupancy Log

This page provides insights into the data only for People Count Sensors. The charts use the average occupancy per day per resource.

1. Overall Average Occupancy

Description

The KPI chart displays the overall average occupancy, based on the selected time frame. It provides insights at the building level or floor level but does not show resource-level average occupancy.

Note: For resource-level average occupancy, refer to the separate KPI cards below.

Use Case

  • Helps in space planning by tracking overall workspace demand.

2. Resource Efficiency Ratio

Description

The chart displays the resource efficiency ratio. Resource efficiency is calculated by dividing the average occupancy by the total resource capacity, providing insight into how effectively the resource is being utilized.

Use Case

  • Optimize workspace allocation by identifying underutilized resources.

  • Improve booking policies to balance room sizes with demand.

3. Resource Capacity Vs. Average Number of Attendees

Description

The charts display the resource capacity numbers versus the average number of attendees. It is similar to the chart above, but while the above chart shows the same details in percentage, this chart displays the numbers.

Use Case

  • Helps right size meeting rooms by matching room capacity with actual usage.

  • Identifies overcrowded or underused spaces, allowing for better allocation.

4. Average Occupancy KPI cards for Resource.

Description

The KPI cards display the values and trends of the daily, weekly, and monthly average occupancy over the selected time. The up and down arrows indicate the comparison between the time periods based on the KPI chart. All these cards are filtered by the "Resource".

Use Case

  • Helps track utilization trends over different timeframes.

  • Provides quick insights into occupancy patterns without needing to analyse detailed charts.

5. Occupancy Trend for Resource

Description

The chart displays the occupancy trend for the selected time frame and resource.

Use Case

  • Helps in capacity planning by identifying peak and low-usage periods.

6. Average Occupancy by Day for Resource

Description

The chart displays the average occupancy count for the selected resource by day.

Use Case

  • Identifies peak and low-usage days for better workspace planning.

7. Summary Table

Description

The summary table displays the raw data for all people count sensors within the selected time range. This data is used to create the above charts. Users can download the data as a CSV file or create their own charts from the summary table.

Use Case

  • Allows users to export data for further analysis or reporting.
